CSH Adjunct Faculty - Physics and Astrophysics

Position Description

The Physics and Astrophysics Department invites expressions of interest in part-time faculty teaching opportunities for the 2024-2025 Academic year within the following areas:

1. Teaching algebra based first year sequence
2. Teaching physics to the non-science students
3. Teaching basic electronics courses to non-physics majors

Preference given to persons experienced in using PER methods.

In order to best serve the students, part-time faculty are expected to perform all duties and responsibilities of a faculty member that are commensurate and consistent with the faculty member’s qualifications and the best interests of DePaul University.

Qualifications

PhD or Masters in subject area to be taught is required.
