Curriculum and Quality Officer
Full time, fixed term until 29/03/2026

Base Salary $103,185 - $111,237 + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) is driven by academic rigour, intellectual curiosity and social inclusion, we're committed to solving pressing global challenges. The Curriculum and Quality team within FASS is recruiting a Curriculum and Quality Officer who is responsible for providing support for a broad range of education, administrative and operational activities to Academic and Teaching staff to meet the curriculum support needs of the Faculty.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- coordinate the compilation of academic content and materials prepared by Academic and Teaching staff for coursework-based programs of study, printed publications and/or uploading to online platforms
- provide and adapt operational and administrative curriculum support services in line with administrative and academic requirements as well as the overall timetable for the work area
- comply with relevant legislative and regulatory controls
- provide secretariat support to relevant curriculum governance committees
- supports the production of Faculty Handbooks, Sydney Courses, and website maintenance
- provides senior administrative support for quality assurance processes, reviews, and accreditation requirements
- collates data and provides analysis of enrolment, load and performance data for course reviews and ad-hoc reporting.
About you
- demonstrated ability to collate and analyse data, make sound inferences, interpret and apply complex resolutions and policy, and communicate results in written reports
- effective and tactful communication skills (both verbal and written), strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build successful relationships with stakeholders
- excellent knowledge of University policies, procedures and administrative processes within a tertiary environment
- excellent time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, use initiative, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and achieve required outcomes in a high-volume environment
- demonstrated experience maintaining digital content with a basic understanding of web design principles, working with a Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Adobe Experience Manager or Interwoven.
