(800 Langdon Street, Madison, WI 53706)Work will be performed both indoors and outdoors.Applicants may be used for future opening also.Key Job Responsibilities:- Monitors and secures facility interior and exterior entrances and reports issues to appropriate entities
- Maintains organization of supply areas and equipment, documents inventory, and requests additional supplies as needed
- Documents and reports repairs, violations, and pest control needs
- Maintains clean and clear walkways to ensure they are free of debris, litter, snow, and ice
- Schedules, monitors, and communicates with staff and assists with basic training
- Utilizes basic equipment and supplies to clean assigned facility areas and remove waste and recyclables
- Responds to facility emergency and hazardous situations, and escalates incidents according to established policies and procedures
Department: Wisconsin Union - Union South
Compensation:$18.91 per hour
- Plus an additional $2.50 per hour for night hours worked (6pm-6am).
- Plus an additional $0.80 per hour for weekend hours worked.
- Plus Time and a half per hour for hours worked on designated legal
holidays.
Required Qualifications:- Ability to walk, stand, lift, carry, bend, stoop and climb for the majority of the shift, including extended periods of continuous physical activities with or without an accommodation.
- Ability to lift and move supplies, equipment and material regularly up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to remove snow and ice outside during cold weather.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience working at same position for 3 months or more- Preferred
Education: High School Diploma preferred
