The Academic Senate of the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences of Comenius University Bratislava (hereinafter referred to as the "Academic Senate of FSEV UK"), pursuant to Section 22(2) and (4) of Act No. 300/2025 Coll. on Higher Education Institutions and on Amendments and Supplements to Certain Acts, as amended, Article 17 of the Statutes of Comenius University Bratislava, Article 13 of the Statutes of the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences of Comenius University Bratislava, as amended by Amendment No. 1/2026, and Internal Regulation No. 7/2023, Principles for the Election of the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences of Comenius University Bratislava (hereinafter referred to as the "Election Principles"), hereby announces the election of the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences of Comenius University Bratislava (hereinafter referred to as the "Dean") for the term of office from 14 May 2027 to 13 May 2031.

Selection process
The deadline for submitting nominations for candidates for the position of Dean is from 29 September 2026 from 12:00 noon until 10 November 2026 at 12:00 noon.
The right to nominate a candidate for the position of Dean is vested in the institutes of the Faculty, members of the Academic Senate of the Faculty, the Dean, and members of the academic community of the Faculty.
The nomination must be submitted in written form and must contain all the requirements set out in Article III of the Election Principles. The nomination must be accompanied by a statement of the candidate confirming their consent to the candidacy, their brief curriculum vitae and the programme statement. Nominations shall be addressed to the Chair of the Election Committee of the Academic Senate of FSEV UK and submitted either in person or through the Registry Office of Comenius University Bratislava, Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences, Mlynské luhy 4, 821 05 Bratislava, in a sealed envelope marked "Election of the Dean of FSEV UK".

The public hearing of the candidates for the position of Dean of FSEV UK and the election of the Dean of FSEV UK will take place at the meeting of the Electoral Assembly on 24 November 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in Room A012 of the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences of Comenius University Bratislava, Mlynské luhy 4, 821 05 Bratislava.
