This dual appointment represents an exceptional leadership opportunity to shape both the academic and clinical research agendas at scale.
As Dean, Sub-Faculty of Translational Medicine and Public Health (Monash University), you will provide visionary leadership to one of the largest and most influential sub-faculties within the University. You will define and deliver the strategic direction of research, education, and engagement, fostering a culture of excellence in teaching, scholarship and interdisciplinary collaboration. You will play a pivotal role in cultivating partnerships with government, industry and the broader health sector to expand the Sub-Faculty’s reach and impact. As Director of Research (Alfred Health), you will oversee the health service’s research strategy, ensuring robust governance, research integrity, and innovation across the Alfred Research Alliance. You will advise the Chief Executive on research priorities, manage compliance and ethics frameworks, and facilitate collaborations that maximise clinical and translational research outcomes. You will represent Alfred Health at senior levels, positioning the organisation at the forefront of global research partnerships and innovation.
