Deputy Director
Job Summary
The Injury and Violence Prevention Center (IVPC) at CU Anschutz is dedicated to reducing injury and violence through rigorous research, workforce training, and translating evidence into effective policies and practices. The Deputy Director will play a key leadership role in expanding the center's expertise and funding portfolio, with a particular focus on overdose prevention and substance use-related injury prevention.
Key Responsibilities
- Support development of new area(s) of expertise and funding in the center, especially overdose prevention
- Strengthen partnerships with researchers and leadership in the School of Medicine, and with other colleges at CU Anschutz (Nursing, Pharmacy)
- Contribute to grant development, resource planning, and sustainability efforts
- Sustain and strengthen clinical research relationships
- Mentor junior faculty
Work Location
Hybrid – this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.
