This will include writing briefs, liaising with Director of Studies, arranging external visiting critics, writing termly student reports and liaising with the model making workshop on material requirements for the studio.

The Department does not specify when preparation work takes place, but it is anticipated that any days where attendance is required take place within the c. 10 weeks of school term-time.

Candidates for this role must have:

  • a Postgraduate Diploma, MSc, MArch, MPhil or equivalent qualification carrying exemption from Part II of the RIBA examinations, or equivalent in Engineering.
