About the Role
The Digital Learning Designer will be responsible for the effective design and development of engaging, accessible and innovative digital learning experiences and assets that meet the diverse needs of learners.
Reporting to the Digital Learning Design Team Lead they will work collaboratively with colleagues, educators, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders across the university to create high-quality resources that enhance the educational experience through innovative digital solutions.
The Digital Learning Designer will support the design and delivery of Educator focused professional development opportunities and co-designed partnership projects, showcasing best practice in digital learning design and technology integration.
This is a full-time, fixed-term 24-month position at our Hawthorn or Croydon campus.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Experience across a range of eLearning environments and products, with the ability to assess their suitability for different learning outcomes and audiences.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Articulate 360, Captivate, or similar authoring tools, along with the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proven experience implementing quality teaching and learning practices to enhance the learner experience.
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and supporting learning technologies.
- Ability to contribute effectively within collaborative teams, while also working independently and managing a dynamic and varied workload.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Sound understanding and application of digital learning principles.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while engaging effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of learning design processes, supported by well-developed analytical and written communication skills.
