Digital Marketing & CRM Specialist
Job Summary:
The CU School of Pharmacy is seeking a dynamic and versatile Digital Marketing & CRM Specialist to execute digital marketing initiatives that support student recruitment, community engagement, and event registrations (Cvent). This role serves as the primary administrator for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and plays a key role in developing data-driven campaigns across email, digital advertising, and web channels.
As part of a small, collaborative team, this role reports to the Marketing & Communication Director and will contribute broadly to marketing and communications efforts combining technical expertise, basic design skills, creative storytelling, and hands-on support for events and content creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, deploy, and optimize Salesforce Marketing Cloud email journeys, audience segmentation, and recruitment campaigns in collaboration with digital strategy, while ensuring data integrity, list management, and compliance with email marketing best practices.
- Develop and execute targeted email and newsletter campaigns for prospective students, partnering with admissions and program teams to align messaging with enrollment and recruitment goals.
- Create and manage Cvent registration forms and landing pages for key events, supporting seamless user experiences and effective event promotion.
- Support paid digital advertising initiatives across social, search, and display channels, assisting with campaign planning, execution, optimization, and coordination with internal stakeholders or external vendors.
- Track, analyze, and report on marketing performance metrics across email, digital campaigns, and web traffic, delivering actionable insights, dashboards, and regular reports to improve effectiveness.
- Write compelling marketing copy and develop engaging storytelling content highlighting students, faculty, research, and programs, including capturing basic multimedia assets to support campaigns.
- Provide comprehensive marketing support for events and recruitment initiatives, including promotion, on-site or post-event communications, and contributing to broader team priorities in a collaborative environment.
Work Location: Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.
