Job Description
The Digital Media Strategist will develop and manage the
University’s marketing presence on paid digital platforms including
social media, geofencing, connected television, digital displays,
search engines, agentic platforms, and other digital media for
online, graduate and program-specific marketing campaigns. They
will serve as part of the team working with our enrollment
marketing vendors to support digital marketing for undergraduate
recruitment. This role will also assist with necessary design work
involved in, but not limited to, digital media campaigns.
REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
- 3–5 years of marketing experience working in design, digital
strategy, digital campaigns on social platforms, CRM
experience
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree Required,Digital Certification optional but a
plus Licenses/Certifications/Credentials
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
What You’ll Manage
- Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads & Meta Ads: Launch, manage, and
optimize paid search, display, and social campaigns.
- Programmatic: In conjunction with marketing managers and
Academic Program Directors/Academic Admissions Teams, plan and
execute targeted programmatic campaigns that go beyond impressions
to real impact.
- Audience Strategy: Build custom segments, retargeting flows,
lookalikes, and cross-platform funnels that convert. Conduct
necessary testing to optimize campaign performance.
- Tracking & Analytics: Create full journey analytics
analysis, monitor KPIs, create dashboards, report on progress, and
recommend strategic shifts. Translate complex data into clear,
actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Budget Management: strategize with AVP and marketing managers
to prioritize paid media budgets; maximizing efficiency, minimize
waste, and proving ROI.
- Develop the Creative Content: Design ads and content to be used
across the platforms
- Design other marketing projects as needed
- Follow the guidance and direction of supervisor(s).
- Demonstrate respectful, ethical, responsible behavior.
- Abide by the University’s policies, procedures, and rules.
- Perform employee responsibilities as detailed in employee
handbooks and policies.
- Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance and
punctuality.
- Other duties, including special projects, as required or
assigned.
