About the Role
Swinburne is seeking a customer-focused Digital Workplace Advisor to join the Digital Workplace Experience (DWX) team within Information Technology.
Reporting to the Digital Workplace Support Team Leader, this role plays a key part in delivering high-quality, responsive IT support services to the Swinburne community. You’ll provide face-to-face and omni-channel support, helping resolve day-to-day technology issues and service requests while ensuring an outstanding user experience.
Working dynamically across the Digital Workplace Experience portfolio, you’ll collaborate closely with IT colleagues and stakeholders to identify opportunities for service improvement, streamline incident resolution, and enhance overall service delivery.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving, stakeholder engagement and delivering service excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Role Information
While this position is primarily based at our Hawthorn campus, it includes a regular rotating roster across our Croydon and Wantirna campuses. As the role requires a full on-campus presence, hybrid or remote working arrangements are not available.
Candidates will also need to be flexible with working hours to accommodate the team’s service coverage requirements within Swinburne Business hours (8.00am–6.00pm).
About You
You are a service-oriented IT professional who enjoys helping people and improving how technology services are delivered.
You will bring:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences
- A strong customer service mindset and a track record of delivering service improvements
- Proven stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Technical capability supporting IT hardware, end-user software and audio-visual technologies
- Experience working in a service operations environment within a large and complex organisation
Qualifications
A degree level qualification in information technology, information systems, with relevant experience or equivalent combination of education & experience
