Position: Dining Services Assistant Cashier

Starting Salary Range: $15.68
Position Summary: Perform duties consistent with food court operations, including operating Point of Sale (POS) cash registers according to cash handling guidelines and prepare, stock, and serve food and beverages safely. Assist in facilitating training in safety, guest service and production.
Required Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be able to pass ServeSafe Certification once employed.
Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Operate cash registers accurately and consistently in accordance with departmental and conceptual standards.
- Train, guide, and schedule part-time temporary staff, as needed, in accordance with departmental requirements.
- Ensure food and beverage products meet standards and make appropriate changes when necessary.
- Ensure food and beverage product is properly rotated and handled.
- Greet customers in-person with a friendly greeting and maintain an upbeat, positive attitude in order to build effective customer relationships.
- Assist with ordering and inventory procedures and monitor use by dates on all products.
- Monitor storage, production, delivery, and service to ensure compliance with all health codes and regulations.
