Dining Services Attendant (Einstein Bagels)

We're seeking passionate Dining Services Attendant to bring their skills to our dynamic team. As a Dining Services Attendant, you will perform various duties necessary in the preparation or service of food. This is first in a series of four classifications and is distinguished from the Dining Service Attendant, Senior in that incumbents do not have lead responsibilities. This class typically reports to Dining Service Supervisor or Cook Lead.
This position requires some evening, weekend and holiday work.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Sets up and replenishes serving lines and serves customers in food service unit.
- Serves items following portion control.
- Performs food preparation tasks such as sandwich and salad making and beverage preparation, following written standardized recipes.
- Cleans and processes fruits and vegetables and prepares various salads, according to written standardized recipes.
- Weighs, labels and dates all food items and stores in designated areas.
- Operates and cleans food service equipment.
- Inventories area and completes required forms.
- Cleans countertop, walls, shelves, drain screens and floor mats.
- Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work area.
- Stocks as needed.
- Greet and serves customers in a friendly courteous manner.
- Takes suggestions and passes them onto the supervisor.
- Actively solves problems wherever possible.
- Works harmoniously with coworkers.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment, products, techniques and standards.
- Skills in using cleaning products and equipment.
Physical Requirements
- Occasionally lifts, transfers or moves a maximum of 50lbs.
