OVERVIEW & HIGHLIGHTS

The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking a qualified individual as a Director, IT Service Management. The Incumbent under administrative direction of the assigned manager directs, manages, supervises and coordinates the activities and operations of the IT Service Management department. Designs the service strategy of the IT Service department, prioritizes technology investments and ensures quality service design to maximize value to District customers. Operationally, optimizes support processes, develops technology plans, manages and operates services, manages problem resolution and implements change control within the framework of the service strategy. Manages the entire life cycle of services, including strategy, design, transition to operation, ongoing support, continual service improvement and service decommissioning. AT-A-GLANCE POSITION INFORMATION:

This recruitment will establish an eligibility list valid for 6 months and will be used to fill current and future vacancies.

Current Vacancy: Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District Offices

Type of position: Full-Time - Monday - Friday. This is an Exempt position and is not eligible of over-time.

Salary: Range M-11

$11,617 - $13,590 Monthly

$139,405- $163,087 Annually

Initial Salary Placement: New employees start at Step A ($11,617) or B ($12,081) monthly on the salary schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Any combination of training and experience equivalent to:

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university with major course work in computer science, management information systems, information technology or a related field.

Five years of increasingly responsible experience in an IT department including three years of management or supervisory responsibility.
