We are currently accepting applications for the position of Director of Football Events & On-Campus Recruiting. This position will report to the Associate General Manager. This position will oversee the planning, logistics, and execution of all football-related events on campus–including official and unofficial recruiting visits, junior days, camps, and major program events. This role ensures that every prospective athlete, family, and guest experiences Stanford Football at its best. This position is a one-year fixed-term appointment.
Responsibilities include
- Plan and execute all on-campus recruiting events, including official visits, unofficial visits, junior days, and camps.
- Develop and manage visit itineraries, schedules, and staff assignments.
- Serve as the point person for communication with prospective student-athletes and their families during visits.
- Coordinate with Operations, Recruiting, and Player Development to ensure a seamless, high-touch experience for each recruit.
- Manage the logistics for special events (e.g., Team Banquet, Signing Day celebrations, Donor Events).
- Supervise event logistics staff, interns, and student ambassadors.
- Partner with DAPER facilities, catering, and marketing teams for event setup and execution.
- Develop systems for visitor feedback, event metrics, and continuous improvement.
- Manage the recruiting event budget in collaboration with Operations and Recruiting leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
- Organized, high-energy leader.
- Experience running large-scale events, including but not limited to recruiting weekends.
- Must be detail-oriented, people-focused, and thrive in fast-moving environments.

The expected pay range for this position is $99,698- $124,938 per annum.
