Applications are invited for the post of Director at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT), Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. MNNIT is a Centrally Funded Technical Autonomous Institute under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, functioning as an Institution of National Importance under the NITSER Act, 2007.

Organization Profile: MNNIT Allahabad is committed to quality and excellence in academic pursuits. Established in 1961 as a joint enterprise of the Government of India and Government of Uttar Pradesh, it was initially an associated college of the University of Allahabad. It has initiatives like an industrial estate for self-employment and has been selected for various projects including Indo-UK REC and World Bank funded programs.

Job Position: Director

Qualification: A visionary with proven leadership, administrative capabilities, teaching, and research credentials. Must have a Ph.D. with first class at Bachelor’s and Master’s level in Engineering/Technology. Candidates with Ph.D. directly after B.E./B.Tech. need first class at Bachelor’s level. Requires 15 years’ experience in Teaching/Industry/Research, with 10 years at Professor level or above in a reputed institute. Age preferably not more than 65 years as on the closing date.

Pay Scale: Rs. 2,10,000/- (Fixed) per month with Special Allowance of Rs. 11,250/- and other usual allowances. Terms as per the Institute’s Act, Statutes, and Ordinances.
