Job Summary:
The Dissemination & Implementation (D&I) Launchpad seeks a Dissemination & Implementation Research Coordinator to join its nationally recognized and dedicated team. The successful candidate will contribute to the Launchpad’s program operations and growth by bringing their exceptional organizational, project, and data management skills to the Launchpad’s scientific, educational, and reporting activities from development to execution.
The D&I Launchpad aims to launch proven health-related innovations, from research to clinical and community practice in Wisconsin and beyond. Through education, training, and consultation with researchers, the Launchpad advances the science of D&I in clinical health care and community settings. The Dissemination & Implementation Research Coordinator works directly with the program’s investigators and scientists, as well as its leadership and other multi-disciplinary teams to help the team deliver implementation science expertise in innovative ways. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, highly organized, bring a systems perspective to operational workflows and multi-unit collaboration, excel in a fast-paced work environment, and have excellent communication skills.
Key activities include:
- Develop and track unit milestones (publications, grant applications, new initiatives, recurring activities) based on strategic goals
- Track and forecast workload and staffing to fulfill major project milestones, ongoing work and externally funded commitments
- Support and manage ongoing training initiatives (Short Course, Implementation Science Seminar Series, workshops and other events) by contributing to planning, marketing and implementation
- Coordinate D&I’s consultation service, including collaborating with other ICTR services, tracking service utilization, and contributing to evaluation of services
- Oversee content creation and manage communications for the monthly D&I newsletter and promote Launchpad projects, events, and services, locally and nationally in coordination with ICTR communications
- Lead D&I program outcome data reporting to the NIH and other funders by developing, maintaining, and continuously improving the Launchpad’s outcomes database and supporting workflows to meet evolving needs
- Create requisite reports and provide quality assurance on D&I data tracking activities to ensure data integrity
- Coordinate preparation and development of data reports for Launchpad presentations in ICTR, SMPH, and other campus-wide meetings and events
- Develop agendas and document minutes for the Launchpad’s meetings
- Support D&I publication submissions to medical journals and internal documents to ICTR stakeholders
- Coordinate the development of funding opportunities and grant proposals in collaboration with relevant partners by facilitating communication, collating data, conducting literature reviews, and managing documents
- Coordinate communication and scheduling of D&I activities in support of collaborative research projects, working with each project’s lead/team to ensure milestones are reported and documented
This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location (at minimum three days per week onsite is required). Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.

Key Job Responsibilities:
- Serves as a unit liaison and subject matter expert among internal and external stakeholder groups, collaborates across disciplines and functional areas, provides program information, and promotes the accomplishments and developments of scholars and research initiatives
- Plans, develops, and implements processes and protocols to support research aims
- Coordinates the daily activities and contracts related to one or more research program(s)
- Leads and organizes the continuous improvement of core program evaluation and data management operations and workflow processes
- Manages and documents outcomes of all program scientific and educational activities, including program reporting
- Monitors program budget(s) and approves unit expenditures
- Develops policies, procedures, and institutional agreements on behalf of the program
- Assists in the development, coordination, and facilitation of trainings and workshops for internal and external audiences to disseminate research program developments and information

Compensation:
The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 up to $108,000 for highly experienced candidates and actual pay within this range will depend on experience and qualifications.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of professional project management experience (playing a lead role in coordinating, facilitating, tracking, and communicating the activities of multiple projects).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using cloud-based collaboration and project management tools, such as Asana, Smartsheet, Teams, Box, and Google Drive.
- Ability to build Gantt charts, line graphs detailing performance trends, and other project data coordination and visualization techniques.
- Experience managing data collection across a variety of systems (such as requesting information and updates from stakeholders via survey/email/etc.) and engaging in quality assurance to ensure data integrity for reporting purposes.
- Experience developing and maintaining online newsletters and websites.
- Experience working with multifunctional teams.
- Experience working in an academic research environment and/or healthcare environment.
- Training in implementation science or related fields of communications, marketing, health services research, community engagement, or experience with outreach services or health IT.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree Preferred, focus in Health Sciences Preferred
