Early College Academy Assistant Part-time

Job Summary:

The part-time Early College Academy (ECA) Assistant Part-time provides assistance to the Director of ECA by overseeing and monitoring Dual Credit students during academic lab hours; track attendance for partner school districts. Enjoy this school year position with summers off! This is a part-time position with no benefits.

Essential Job Duties:

• Assist students in navigation of college systems (email, Canvas, Navigate360)
• Connect with faculty and students on academic progress reports/early intervention issues
• Distribute handouts, swag, and academic materials as needed
• Collaborate with campus partners for strategic initiatives
• Assist with tabling events as necessary
• Be responsive to student inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or at least 60 College Credits Completed
• Valid Driver's License
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Education
• Teaching experience at the high school or middle school grade level

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction
• Problem solver
• Creativity
• Understanding of secondary school system/organization

Physical Demands:

Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects

Additional Demands:

Some local travel may be required

Hours of Work:

Tuesday - Thursday 9:00 am - 3:00 p.m.
