Job Summary:

Pediatric Cardiologist with subspecialization in the performance and interpretation of transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interprets diagnostic transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) in the inpatient and outpatient setting on hearts with normal anatomy and complex congenital heart disease. Capable of performing transthoracic echocardiograms on patients with complex congenital heart disease.
• Performs and provides in-the-moment interpretations on diagnostic transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) in the operating room, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology room settings on hearts with normal anatomy and complex congenital heart disease.
• Train and mentor pediatric categorical cardiology fellows, as well as pediatric advanced cardiac imaging 4th year fellows.
• Help to train and mentor pediatric cardiac sonographers.
• Outpatient cardiology clinic at the Anschutz campus and possibly network of care.

Work Location: Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: This is an open rank position...
Assistant Professor: Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.
Associate Professor: Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology. At least 5 years of experience.
Professor: Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology. At least 10 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of at least one additional year of training in non-invasive cardiac imaging/echocardiography... etc.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Deep knowledge of congenital heart disease anatomy... etc.

Anticipated Pay Range:
Assistant Professor: $240,000 to $254,886
Associate Professor: $293,814 to $314,752
Professor: $364,300 to $402,171
