  • Located on the Camperdown campus
  • Base Salary $103,185 - $111,237 (HEO6) + 17% superannuation

About the opportunity

Quantum Australia is seeking an Ecosystem Development Coordinator to play a central role in delivering and scaling programs that connect and grow Australia's rapidly expanding quantum technology community.

Working closely with the NSW based Ecosystem Development Lead and a national network of Ecosystem Development Facilitators, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing a range of high-impact initiatives including events, and resources that activate, connect, and grow the quantum ecosystem. This includes strengthening community engagement, amplifying activity across NSW and beyond, and supporting pathways from ecosystem participation into partnership opportunities (in collaboration with the Partnerships team).

This is a face-paced, highly connective role-ideal for someone who enjoys turning ideas into action. You will work across multiple stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and help shape how programs are delivered in practice. Success in this role requires strong organisational skills, initiative, and the ability to work through ambiguity to deliver outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • coordinate and deliver ecosystem programs and events, coordinating logistics, communications, stakeholder engagement, and on-the-day execution.
  • build and maintain relationships across the quantum community, increasing visibility and participation in NSW and nationally.
  • support the Ecosystem Development Lead in translating ideas into actionable plans, contributing to the design and delivery of new programs
  • identify opportunities to strengthen engagement and participation across the ecosystem, particularly within NSW in collaboration with the NSW Partnerships team.
  • manage competing priorities and timelines across multiple initiatives, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery

About you

  • demonstrated experience coordinating events, programs, or stakeholder engagement initiatives (ideally in innovation, startups, or deep tech environments)
  • strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
  • a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and confidence working in environments where not everything is fully defined
  • ability to take direction but also contribute ideas and help shape how work is delivered
  • high attention to detail and strong follow-through
  • interest in emerging technologies and willingness to learn about the quantum ecosystem.

Why Join Us?

This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of quantum innovation in Australia, working at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and entrepreneurship. You'll have the autonomy to lead, innovate, and make a tangible impact on the growth of a national quantum ecosystem.
