The department of European & International Social & Political Studies (EISPS) is looking to appoint an Education Coordinator (Taught Programmes) for the duration of 9 months from January to September 2026 (maternity cover). EISPS is a multidisciplinary department situated within UCL’s Faculty of Arts and Humanities. EISPS offers highly selective degrees which aims to equip students with a rigorous interdisciplinary understanding of international affairs, grounded in a chosen disciplinary specialism and complemented by advanced language proficiency.

About the role

• Deliver high quality teaching and learning administration. • Lead the team in achieving a high quality and timely service to current and prospective students and staff related to the taught degree programmes. • Coordinate all tasks relating to the teaching and learning activities of students, from registration to completion, including supporting committees and processes relating to assessment, year abroad management, student, and programme records. The post holder will be based in the department of EISPS. They will transition to be part of a wider Faculty team, line managed through the Faculty and expected to be physically located with their wider Faculty team on a regular basis. However, primarily the role holder will continue to support the departmental programme teams. Please note this is a fixed-term contract ending on 30 September 2026.

They will demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, experience in community building, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff from diverse backgrounds. A commitment to professional development and keeping up to date with courses and programmes is essential.
