"Engineer II - Robotics Institute"

Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Institute is searching for an Engineer II to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and ambitious work environment. You will perform moderately complex engineering work requiring commonly employed technical knowledge related to the design, testing, installation and modification of equipment, or processes, or structures. Works with other engineering disciplines in the development and application of research or products.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in review of state-of-the-art technologies for dexterous tasks, including medical tasks.
• Supervise interns, including working hands-on to develop demonstrations and prototypes of new technology concepts.
• Work with team to conceptualize new solution concepts for dexterous robotic hardware for medical and other tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
