"English Lecturer Position at Central China Normal University"

Job Description

The role of a Foreign English teacher is to help our students speak English and improve English practical skills. Those responsibilities include preparing lessons and lesson material, teaching young adult students, holding counseling sessions, assisting colleagues, maintaining records, writing progress reports, etc. You will have 16-18 classes per week, each class for 45 minutes.

Qualification

• Native speaker of English;
• Born after 01/01/1961;
• A Bachelor’s degree or above (authenticated by the Chinese Embassy of the country where the diploma was obtained);
• A minimum of two years’ teaching experience or holding a teaching certificate (e.g. TESOL or TEFL)

Salary and Benefits

• Monthly Salary: RMB 7000-8000 (7000 for Bachelor, 8000 for Master degree)
• A fully-furnished, air-conditioned, two-bedroom apartment free of charge;
• Telephone and internet (fees apply);
• A monthly utilities allowance of 300-yuan;
• Basic medical insurance during the contract period;
• A return ticket between Wuhan and the applicant’s hometown;
• A bonus vacation allowance of 2,200 yuan contingent upon satisfactory performance of each contract year.
