Overall Purpose of the Job:
- To assist the Associate Director of Estates and Space Management to provide an estate management service in respect of the acquisition, management and disposal of all University properties, to include:
- To assist in the management of all property related aspects of the University’s freehold estate;
- To assist in the management of the leases associated with the University’s properties including the University’s commercial investment properties;
- To assist in the management of the University’s property investment at the Tabley estate;
- To assist in the management of the processes associated with property deeds, leases, rating assessments, insurance valuations, council tax bandings and rents;
- To ensure the efficient and effective use of consultant surveyors and solicitors engaged to advise on estate management issues; and
- To deputise, when required for the Associate Director of Estates and Space Management.
