Fixed term role to coordinate events, merchandise, logistics, and admin to support smooth, efficient student engagement activity delivery.
Mō te tūka | The role
In this busy and varied position, you’ll help keep our recruitment, events and marketing activities running seamlessly. Based in our Marketing team, within Student Engagement you’ll provide hands‑on coordination across events, merchandise, logistics, and financial administration to ensure everything is well organised, resourced, and delivered on time.
You’ll support multiple teams and projects, help keep workflows on track, and maintain the systems, processes and practical support that enable high-quality delivery and consistent execution.
Some tasks of the role include:
- Coordinating and supporting recruitment, marketing, and on‑the‑ground event activities
- Organising staff, volunteers, equipment, signage, and merchandise
- Maintaining templates, checklists, run sheets, and workflow tools
- Managing merchandise orders, stock, storage, and equipment tracking
- Reconciling event budgets, processing reimbursements, and raising purchase orders
- Problem‑solving operational issues as they arise

This is a 12-month fixed-term role is based at our Lincoln Campus and works 37.5 hours per week (1.0 FTE).
While the position is primarily on‑campus, some work‑from‑home flexibility may be available depending on the role’s requirements. The salary for this position is $70,000–$75,000 per annum, depending on experience.

To be successful in the role you will have:
- Experience in coordination, administration, or operational support
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills, able to juggle multiple tasks
- Confident digital capability, including Microsoft Office and workflow tools
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, customer‑focused approach
- High accuracy and attention to detail across financial and administrative tasks
- Initiative, problem‑solving ability, and adaptability to changing priorities
