Use high vigilance when monitoring students during exam
sessions to ensure a secure exam environment.
Control Admission to and from the exam room/computer
laboratory.
Strictly adhere to Nursing Program testing policies.
Document and report incidents or irregularities accurately,
including technology issues, policy violations, interruptions, or
student concerns in a timely manner to examinee staff.
Be punctual for scheduled shifts.
Complete appropriate paperwork for various exams such as
ensuring upload when exam is completed.
Verify exam materials and testing readiness before students
begin, including secure testing instructions, approved materials,
and room/computer readiness.
Enforce testing rules consistently, including restrictions on
phones, smart watches, notes, calculators, breaks, and other
unauthorized materials.
Maintain confidentiality and exam security, including
protection of exam content, student information, and testing
documentation.
Coordinate with faculty, testing staff, or program leadership
when issues arise during testing.
Ensure students complete required post-exam steps, such as
submitting or uploading exams, logging out of testing platforms,
and returning materials.
Provide clear, standardized instructions to students before and
during testing while avoiding assistance with exam content.
Support approved testing accommodations as directed by
appropriate College personnel, while maintaining
confidentiality.
Complete external testing vendor trainings as required to
obtain and maintain proctoring approval.
Additional Functions:
Respect and maintain confidentiality, parameters of operation,
professional protocols, and individual privacy.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or their
designee.

Essential Characteristics:
Successful performance in this position demands consistent
demonstration of the following uncompromised performance
characteristics:
- Previous test proctoring experience preferred.
- Commitment to proctor exams for the entire semester.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule - various days; various
hours 8:00am- 8:00pm (i.e., non-course exams such as HESI or ATI
Exams).
- Ability to work in a multi-ethnic/multicultural setting.
- Commitment to meeting the needs of our diverse student
body.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications.
- Demonstrated organization skills

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school equivalency
- Previous experience in proctoring in testing environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree
- Experience working in a higher education/college
environment
Salary:
$25.00 per hour, per diem
