We are currently recruiting for an Executive Officer to the Vice-Chancellor to join our dynamic Vice-Chancellor’s Office. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a wide-ranging role that works directly and closely with the Vice-Chancellor to support the University’s leadership team and the delivery of the University’s strategic ambitions.
In this pivotal role, you will be the Vice-Chancellor’s trusted partner. You will bring pace, clarity and calm to a fast-moving environment. You will provide proactive, high-quality executive and administrative support to the Vice-Chancellor, as well as leading on key support functions such as preparing briefings, supporting projects and prioritising tasks strategically.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a track record of providing high-quality and proactive professional support to a senior leader
- Bring your expertise in creative problem-solving, professional judgment and discretion
- Work to tight deadlines and across multiple priorities, working both independently and as part of a team
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience in creating clear and concise written materials
- Have degree-level education or equivalent experience
