General Description:
The Facilities Manager is responsible for supporting the physical operations, maintenance, space planning, and event logistics across the College of Architecture's key facilities, including the iconic S.R. Crown Hall. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the College's spaces function safely, efficiently, and in alignment with its academic and community mission.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years in architectural design, construction administration, or facilities management, preferably in an educational or institutional environment.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office/iWork Suite
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated supervisory experience as well as experience coordinating cross-functional teams
- Ability to provide flexible support across both building operations and fabrication-related activities
