The Department of Radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center/NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a full-time faculty member to join our growing Division of Musculoskeletal Radiology. Join a dynamic team at one of the top clinical, research, and teaching institutions in the country and enjoy the flexibility to work near where you live!

Compensation and academic rank will vary based on credentials, expertise, and experience. Salary range starts at $435,000 (for a faculty member in the first year out of fellowship). Our radiology department offers several on-site locations to work from, extending from northern Westchester to New York City, including a state-of-the-art, multidisciplinary ambulatory care facility in White Plains, opening in September 2025.

Our ideal candidate has experience with the full array of musculoskeletal imaging and interventions including MRI, CT, X-ray, diagnostic ultrasound, and image-guided interventions. We have a strong emphasis on adult and pediatric sports imaging and provide imaging services to professional, collegiate, and high school athletic teams and programs in the New York City area. Spine imaging is also a focal point, and we work closely with NewYork-Presbyterian's Och Spine, the only dedicated spine hospital in New York.

The musculoskeletal radiology division consists of nine faculty members with a wide range of expertise and interests. We participate in daily didactic and hands-on training of excellent radiology residents and musculoskeletal radiology fellows, engage in numerous research projects to advance the field, and hold leadership positions in local and national radiology societies.

The Department of Radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center has more than 100 full time faculty and performs over 800,000 imaging exams each year in state-of-the-art facilities. Our hospital, New York-Presbyterian, is a tertiary and quaternary care center ranked as one of the best in the country and New York City, treating a wide range of patients from the NYC tristate area and across the world. Columbia University is an exciting hub of innovation and technology, with many opportunities to collaborate with other departments and schools.

Columbia University offers a highly competitive benefits package, including college tuition and childcare reimbursement, tuition exemption for faculty members who wish to pursue graduate programs, generous retirement plans, and excellent health and dental coverage. Continuing Medical Education/conference days are apportioned by academic rank and are negotiable to fit candidate needs.
