About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to manage a 900-acre mixed farm within the University of Oxford’s Oxford Green Estate. The farm supports livestock, arable and grassland production, while contributing to environmental projects and agricultural research.
As Farm Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operation of the farm, ensuring safe, efficient, and productive management of livestock, crops, staff, contractors, infrastructure, budgets, and records.
Working closely with research teams and farming partners, you will support field trials, innovative farming practices, and environmental schemes. This hands-on leadership role offers the opportunity to influence the future of farming and land management.
The role requires flexibility to work outside standard hours, including weekends, when operationally required.

About You
You will bring:
- Proven experience managing mixed farming operations involving both livestock and arable enterprises
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing farm operations, resources, and budgets effectively
- Knowledge of agricultural compliance, Health & Safety, and sustainable farming practices
- A full, clean UK driving licence
