"Fieldwork Supervisor Pool AY 25-26: Department of Teacher Education"

Part-Time Fieldwork Supervisor Pool Position for the Department of Teacher Education at California State University, East Bay.

The Department of Teacher Education offers the Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and the Single Subject Teaching Credential in various areas. It also offers Masters of Science degrees in Education. The mission is to prepare teachers committed to improving school practices for California's diverse student populations.

Duties: Supervisors will conduct in-person and electronic visits to school sites in the East Bay to observe students during fieldwork experiences in preschool-12th grade settings. Complete assessment measures documenting candidates' mastery of California Teaching Standards. Expected to attend virtual Supervisor meetings. Teaching assignments may include courses at the Hayward campus, Concord Center, and/or online, all within California.

Rank and Salary: Salary depends on educational preparation and experience. Ranges include: Lecturer AY Range 2: $5,507 - $6,677, Range 3: $6,221 - $13,224, Range 4: $6,825 - $14,523, Range 5: $8,593 - $15,211. Anticipated hiring range is at or near the minimum.

Dates of Appointment: Fall Semester: 08/18/25 - 12/19/25; Spring Semester: 01/20/26 - 05/22/26.

Qualifications: Master's degree; credentialed or equivalent experience in educator preparation; expertise in the content area; recent professional experience in school settings aligned with California's standards; knowledge of supervision approaches, program curriculum, and assessments.
