Finance Workflow and Administration Role

Full time role supporting smooth financial operations through workflow coordination, quality control, and transactional excellence.

In this role you will manage workflows, support banking and cash flow administration, and ensure compliance with financial policies. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the University.
Some tasks of the role include:
- Coordinating finance workflows and ensuring quality control
- Reviewing and processing financial transactions and reconciliations
- Managing banking, PCard, and cash flow administration
- Supporting compliance with financial policies and reporting standards
- Preparing reports and liaising with auditors
- Providing backup and support across the Finance team
Permanent role, 37.5 hours per week (1.0 FTE) at our Lincoln Campus. Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Kā tino Pūkeka/Whēako | Essential skills/experience for the role
You will have:
- At least five years' experience in finance or office administration
- Proactive attitude with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent relationship building, communication and report-writing skills
- Experience with financial systems and transactional taxes (e.g. GST, RWT)
- Proven ability to coordinate workflows and improve processes
