Position Details:

The Opportunity:

As the First-Generation Student Success Navigator, your key responsibilities include coordinating specialized programs that help students transition to college life and accessing resources and providing comprehensive academic and personal support to prospective and enrolled first-year students from rural SW Washington. In this role, you will also organizes campus visits, events and other specialized co-curricular programs designed to build community, provide resources, and address the unique challenges faced by first-year, first-generation, and low-income students, all of whom face significant barriers to higher education. Through individualized support plans you will equip potential and current students with the tools and resources to navigate entry into higher education and challenges to achieve their academic goals.

Additional Information:

This is a full time (100% FTE), project position. This position is overtime eligible.

Temporary End Date: This is a project appointment expected to end on March 31, 2027. Renewal is dependent on the need for extension and/or if additional funding is secured to extend employment.

Monthly Salary: $3,751 - $4,167 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications

In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position. Successful candidates typically begin up to mid-point of the salary range. For additional information, please review WSU's Administrative Professional Compensation.
