The Adjunct Faculty member is responsible for teaching undergraduate or graduate courses on a part-time basis. This role supports the academic mission of the institution by providing high-quality instruction, engaging students in learning, and maintaining academic standards in the classroom and/or online environment.
Requested Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in relevant discipline or a closely related field; terminal degree preferred for graduate-level instruction.
- Demonstrated expertise and experience in the subject area.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Prior teaching experience at the college or university level preferred.
- Experience teaching in hybrid or online formats.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Coursdog).
- Proficiency with Google Suite or similar digital tools.
