The Boston College Bands Program seeks a part-time Front Ensemble Arranger/Instructor to provide musical arrangements and instruction for the mallet, electronic, and auxiliary percussion instrumentalists in the "Screaming Eagles" Marching Band. Applicants should have extensive experience playing, arranging for, and instructing these instruments. This position requires the Front Ensemble Arranger/Instructor to be available for our preseason Camp during the last two weeks of August from 9 AM to 10 PM, in addition to weekly rehearsals during the fall season on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 PM to 10 PM. In addition this role will support all home football games and must be available for occasional command and travel performances including potential bowl games.

Each staff member in the Division of Student Affairs is expected to support division and university-wide initiatives, staff events, and serve on committees as needed.

Salary $6,500

Requirements

• A master's degree in music or music education is preferred.
• Must be available for Band Camp
• Must attend all rehearsals and performances
• Must be available for post-season bowl game travel
