"Full/Associate/Assistant Professor in Computer Science"

The University of Macau (UM) is an internationalized research-oriented comprehensive public university in the Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR). UM is placed No. 180 in the THE World University Rankings and No. 285 in the QS World University Rankings. The Department of Computer and Information Science (CIS) of the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) invites applications for the position of Full/Associate/Assistant Professor in Computer Science. This position intends to complement and strengthen existing staff expertise. We are seeking candidates with a proven track record in scientific research, an innovative research vision, and a commitment to education.

FST is dedicated to student-centric education and cutting-edge research in engineering and science. CIS, founded in 1990, has 39 academic staff and offers Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs in computer science. The selected candidate is expected to assume duty in August 2026.

Qualifications:

• PhD degree in Computer Science or related areas;
• Open to all areas in Computer Science including Networked, Mobile and Sensor Systems, Blockchain and Web3, Computer and Information Security, Agents and HCI;
• Strong background in Computer Science, quality research, and teaching experience at the tertiary level;
• Good team player for departmental, faculty, and university activities.

Remuneration: A taxable annual remuneration starting from MOP855,400 for Assistant Professor, MOP1,052,800 for Associate Professor, and MOP1,250,200 for Full Professor, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
