Full Professor tenure-track faculty position opening at the Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University.

Qualifications

Applicants should demonstrate achievement of excellence in research and in teaching MBA, doctoral, and undergraduate students. Applicants should have a PhD in a discipline related to Operations Management (interdisciplinary degree in mathematics and engineering preferred). The ideal candidate is expected to have demonstrated a major role in scholarship on algorithmic and prescriptive business analytics, with a focus on online learning and optimization and design and analysis of provably near-optimal heuristic control for complex systems. Applicants at the Full Professor level will be considered. The holder is expected to play a leading role in furthering the development of business analytics and operations area at the Tepper School.
