"Full-time Tenure-Line Faculty - Human Services/Addictions Counseling"

Job Description

Full-time, tenure-line position in the field of human services/addictions counseling, beginning fall of 2025, based on the Jamestown Campus with teaching responsibilities in Olean at the Cattaraugus County Campus.

Responsible for teaching a full range of first- and second-year courses in Addictions Counseling, as well as courses in Human Services. May also teach Psychology courses.

Qualifications

Required: Master's degree (or higher) in social work, psychology, or related counseling degree, with active clinical licensure. Demonstrated work experience in the mental health and addictions counseling field.

Preferred: Doctorate in psychology or related field; certification in addictions counseling; college teaching experience, especially community college experience.

Additional Information

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Please note that rank will vary depending upon experience and credentials:

• If hired at the instructor level: $46,386 - $55,664/year (Salary represents a 9-month contract)
• If hired at the assistant professor level: $51,025 - $61,230/year (Salary represents a 9-month contract)
• If hired at the associate professor level: $56,128 - $67,353/year (Salary represents a 9-month contract)
• If hired at the professor level: $61,740 - $74,088/year (Salary represents a 9-month contract)
