Graduate Programs Coordinator
Under the general supervision of the Director of Graduate Student Success, the Graduate Program Coordinator will advise student leaders in developing meaningful initiatives to promote students' intellectual and personal growth and discuss and clarify organizational initiatives to help students acquire relevant information and university service and program requirements. The Program Coordinator will engage in the evaluation of student learning progress, career goals, and academics through outside classroom engagement; partner with the School of Business stakeholders on how their academic journey aligns with internship and employment plans; analyze student information system data to understand better the professional engagement challenges faced by particular student populations; assist faculty with organizing case competitions and highlighting experiential learning opportunities. The incumbent will perform an advising role for A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management Student Association, School of Business clubs, and organizations to connect outside stakeholders to student leaders based on the needs of professional development strategies.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree, 2-4 years of related experience, and at least 1 year of experience advising graduate or professional school students. Key skills include problem identification, service orientation, interpersonal skills, multicultural competencies, and the ability to multitask.
Key responsibilities include coordinating and implementing student events, providing career and academic advising, managing employer databases, conducting student orientations, and assisting with job fairs.
