Benefits
The selected candidate will work on a full-time basis, amounting to 37.5 hours per week. The salary will be in accordance with the collective agreement of the “Grupo de Empresas de las Fundaciones de Investigación Biomédica de las Instituciones Sanitarias adscritas al Servicio Madrileño de Salud (SERMAS)” for the position advertised: 28.898,00 € gross per year.
This contract is established in accordance with art. 23 bis de la Ley 14/2011 Contrato de actividades científico técnicas and is linked to the research project: “Fármacos para la enfermedad inflamatoria intestinal (EII) durante el embarazo y la lactancia: impacto en el sistema inmune de los niños”. This contract will be funded by resources from the unit allocated to the aforementioned project.
Eligibility criteria
The assessment criteria for this vacancy are listed below, with a maximum total score of 16 points:
- Experience in experimental immunology and murine models of intestinal inflammation (samples from murine models, colitis models and assessment of intestinal permeability using FITC-dextran): up to 2 points.
- Experience in molecular biology, histology and immunofluorescence techniques (RNA extraction, gene expression analysis, histological processing and staining, protein immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry): up to 2 points.
- Experience in cellular immunology techniques (cell cultures, cell isolation and stimulation, cell labelling, flow cytometry, ELISA or Multiplex techniques): up to 2 points.
- Participation in scientific activities (research projects, presentations at scientific conferences, completion of training courses): up to 1.5 points.
- Publication of articles on immunology or inflammatory bowel disease in indexed international scientific journals. Participation as first author or as an author making a significant contribution will be particularly valued: up to 1.5 points.
- English language proficiency, with official certification at C1 level or above: 1 point.
- Personal interview: up to a maximum of 6 points.
Selection process
Applications meeting the qualification requirements and submitted within the deadline will be reviewed by a selection panel composed of three members (one Chair and two panel members). A curriculum assessment will be carried out for all applications received. Candidates will be scored according to the merits and experience demonstrated in relation to the requirements of the position. Subsequently, shortlisted candidates may be invited to attend a personal interview.
