Grant Submission Manager
Primary Purpose:
The Grant Submission Manager is responsible for pre-award grant compliance and grant and applicable contract submissions, supporting the Director of Research.
Essential Functions:
- Reviews grants and incoming contracts for compliance and supports submission of faculty and staff led proposals.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Two (2) years of experience with grant/contract process
- Experience with federal funder submission portals like ASSIST, Research.gov, and Grants.gov.
- Knowledge of federal opportunities, particularly NIH and NSF.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computer office software including word-processing, spreadsheet, presentation applications and databases.
- Ability to work on competing deadlines/priorities.
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
- Positive attitude, proven ability to work successfully with diverse populations and demonstrated commitment to promote and enhance diversity and inclusion.
- Knowledge of grant proposal process.
- Advanced use of computer office software: spreadsheet, databases and outlook.
- Attention to detail, experience with organizing incoming processes.
- Experience creating/reviewing or developing project budgets.
- Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.
- Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.

This is an in-person role, and the successful candidate must be willing to relocate within California, preferably within 25 miles of the Stockton Pacific campus.
Requires extended periods of sitting both at a workstation and in meetings, as well as repetitive hand/wrist motion while using computer keyboard and phone. Occasional standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping and reaching. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment/Work Week/Travel:Work is primarily performed in a standard office environment. Work performed during standard business hours.
Hiring Range: $73,000 - $76,000 per year. We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
