Your Role on the Team

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, incumbent mows, rakes, and edges lawns, trims bushes and trees, and cleans up debris as required. Incumbent will assume responsible for the care and maintenance of tools and will function as a Lead by making daily assignments and prioritizing work flow.

What It Takes to be Successful

Required Qualifications:

• Two years' of experience in grounds maintenance or gardening; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Skill to effectively lead and serve as a Unit Resource for staff
• Must possess and maintain a valid California driver's license
• Must be available to work alternate work schedules and overtime, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Employment contingent upon completion of satisfactory background investigation. Position is subject to the California DMV's 'Pull Notice System' and continued employment is contingent upon proof of a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
