We are building a dynamic team of partnership professionals to help turn Imperial’s bold research visions into real-world impact. As we launch our pioneering Schools of Convergence Science – a cornerstone of Imperial’s new Strategy – we are seeking an exceptional Head of Relationship Management to lead this mission.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of interdisciplinary research at Imperial. You will lead a team of talented relationship managers, working closely with the Schools’ Co-Directors to forge & grow strategic relationships across philanthropy, foundations, industry, collaborators & major funders.

Announced as a key pillar of Imperial’s new Strategy, these four Schools will enhance our interdisciplinary research capacity, global visibility, talent attraction, and funding, driving societal impact in critical areas.

As Head of Relationship Management, you will be at the heart of this transformation – driving forward connecting visionary research with the partners who can help bring it to life. You’ll play a key role in proactively identifying & building long-term collaborations in and out of Imperial that unlock new funding, drive innovation, and deliver societal benefit on a global scale.

What you would be doing

• Driving the development and delivery of strategic impact plans for each of the four Schools of Convergence Science. You will take direct leadership of one School, working closely with its Co-Directors to shape and execute a bold, outcomes-focused partnership strategy.
• Leading a team of Relationship Managers, each aligned to one of the Schools. You will provide strategic direction, mentorship, & coordination to ensure a cohesive and high-impact approach to partnership development across the portfolio.
• Proactively leading the cultivation & stewardship of high-value partnerships across philanthropy, foundations, industry, & major funders. You will ensure that each School has the external relationships and support needed to deliver on its vision & maximise its real-world impact.
