Part-time instructor Psychology - Life-span Development

Job Description:
The Department of Psychology at Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY is seeking a part-time instructors to teach Life-Span Development in the fall semester (8/15/2024 - 12/20/2024). This course is being offered in person and on campus. Preferred applicants will have teaching experience in psychology. In addition to the course, the instructor is expected to be available to students as needed, including a minimum of one hour of office hours held weekly on campus or remotely.
At Bellarmine, Introductory Psychology is the study of the principles of growth and development, covering the span of life from infancy to late adulthood. This course focuses on how individuals develop physically, socially, and intellectually. Implications of development theories and research on counseling, education, parenting, and health services are also discussed. There are different sections of Life-Span Development Psychology available. The day and times are below. In your letter of interest please indicate which sections you are available to teach. If you are interested in teaching multiple sections, please include this in your letter.
Tuesday and Thursday 9:25 to 10:40am
Tuesday and Thursday 12:15 to 1:30pm
Requirements:
A Master's degree or higher in Psychology is required and must be awarded by August, 2024.
