Job Summary
The House Person position cleans common areas of the hotel and meeting spaces to ensure a clean environment for guests by maintaining standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
Responsibilities
- Ability to prioritize and change the course of action quickly.
- Vacuum clean mops scrubs dust
- Clean hotel common areas including bathrooms
- Dust
- Cleans furniture, fixtures, doors, and related furnishing by using appropriate chemical supplies
- Perform other house person duties per supervisor's and manager's directions
Work Environment and Level of Frequency that may be required Nearly Continuously: Office environment. Seldom: Hazards (includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, or exposure to chemicals). Physical Requirements and Level of Frequency that may be required Nearly Continuously: Sitting, hearing, listening, talking, walking. Often: Bending, reaching overhead, twisting. Seldom: Lifting - up to 50 pounds, kneeling, squatting.
Minimum Qualifications
This is an entry-level position. Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills are required. Six months of related experience is preferred.
