HR Administrator (Research Staff and Visitors)
We are looking for an HR Administrator, who will be based at the Department's central Cambridge site, to provide a comprehensive HR and administrative support service to the team in the Department's HR Office that deals with Research Staff and Visitors. This role will join an existing small HR team lead by an HR Manager.
The HR Office for Research Staff and Visitors supports the delivery of contract and HR services for contract Research staff and visitors. This in turn supports the operations of the Department by promoting good HR practice and employee relations, aligned to University policies and procedures, as well as the effective delivery of HR administrative processes. The team in this office provides an accessible and authoritative point of contact for all staff issues relating to Research staff and visitors.
The successful candidates will be educated to at least A Level standard and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential requirements for this role, as well as the ability to organise and prioritise your own workload. Previous administrative experience, preferably within an HR environment, is required and experience of using University of Cambridge administrative processes would be desirable.
