HR Advisor
Role Description
As an HR Advisor (Operational Change and Employee Relations), you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of organisational change and workforce transformation initiatives across the university. Working as part of our newly established Change and Projects team within People Services, you will provide professional HR advice and operational support across restructures, workforce reviews, service redesigns and employee relations activity. Working closely with the Assistant People Partner (Operational Change and ER Advice Lead), Senior People Partner (Change and Projects), managers and wider People Services colleagues, you will coordinate change activity, support consultation processes, prepare documentation, analyse workforce information and ensure colleagues and managers receive timely, consistent and practical guidance throughout periods of change.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an experienced HR professional with a strong understanding of employee relations and a passion for supporting effective organisational change. You will have experience of providing HR advice on matters such as restructures, contractual changes, consultation processes and workforce initiatives, with the ability to apply employment legislation, policies and best practice in a pragmatic way. You will be organised, collaborative and customer-focused, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a changing environment. With excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering a positive colleague experience, you will build trusted relationships with managers and colleagues while contributing to the successful delivery of change across the university.
