HR Business Partner
About the role
You will act as a trusted advisor to Deans, Directors and leadership teams, providing expert HR guidance, challenge and support across a broad range of people matters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Translating organisational strategy into practical workforce and people plans
- Supporting and leading organisational change, including restructures and transformation programmes
- Coaching and developing leaders to build capability and confidence
- Using data and insight to inform decision-making and identify trends
- Promoting a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture
- Providing advice on complex employee relations matters
You will work collaboratively with HR specialist teams — including Employee Relations, Reward, Recruitment and EDI — to design and deliver effective people solutions, and contribute to the delivery of internal HR initiatives and continuous improvement activity.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience partnering senior stakeholders within a complex organisation
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- Experience of organisational design and delivering change
- Ability to influence, coach and challenge at a senior level
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into insight
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A Level 7 qualification (or equivalent experience), ideally CIPD-accredited.
