Job Overview

The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine (COM) is seeking a full-time (100% FTE) HR Coordinator to perform a variety of human resources support functions within the College of Medicine and UC Physicians, Inc. (UCP). This individual will help ensure the delivery of excellent customer service; foster communication, teamwork, and collaboration; and support the development and implementation of standardized processes and procedures.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinate HR functions for an operating unit in partnership with an HR Consultant.
  • Support employee separation processes by initiating separation Personnel Change Requests (PCRs), maintaining turnover data, and providing administrative support to HR Consultants.
  • Work with HR Consultants and Talent Acquisition on job postings, recruitment, and selection process. Manage student hiring and coordination for an operating unit. Act as a PCR initiator for assigned organizational units. Prepare and analyze various HR data to identify opportunities for quality improvement.
  • Assist with project management functions.
  • Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.

Required Education

Bachelor’s Degree

Four (4) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

Additional Qualifications Considered

Experience with reporting and data analysis tools such as Power BI, excel, or similar platforms to generate HR metrics.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
