The opportunity

The College COACH summer internship is a paid program running from Monday, June 8-Friday, August 14, 2026. In addition to on-the-job training and work experience, the program includes workshops and additional development programs. College students will work 35 hours/week. Interns will earn $17.50-$21.50/hour.

This role is hybrid (1-2 days/week onsite) at 401 Park Drive, Boston. Specific work hours will be determined by the supervisor.

What you'll do

• Support the HR Communications team by helping draft and edit content for newsletters, intranet posts, emails, and digital screens
• Assist with gathering information from HR teams, updating HR Hub content, and supporting logistics for events and campaigns
• Day-to-day expectations include attending meetings, keeping shared documents organized, meeting deadlines, asking questions when needed, and maintaining confidentiality
• Attend a 2-day program orientation and onboarding
• Participate in virtual and in-person workshops and activities

Who you are

• You are an undergraduate college student in good academic standing and will be enrolled in a two-or four-year program for Fall 2026, and you are interested in working in healthcare
• Strong writing and proofreading skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to organize information
• Interest in communications or HR
• Clear communication and willingness to learn
• Reliability and attention to detail
• Ability to take feedback
• Professionalism and confidentiality

  • Proof of Employment Eligibility
  • Media release

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
